From south of Spain, Ski Club Granada promotes the skiing for kids but our idea is not only pratice skiing in Sierra Nevada in the winter season.
It is possible because Ski Club Granada has availability to use a Ski simulator.
SCG can use this fantastic tool because of collaboration with Pablo J. Gómez-López, Specialization in Alpine Skiing Faculty Sport Sciences University of Granada.
But this event has other partners:
- Cetursa Sierra Nevada helps us with free ski passes to kids and coaches.
- FADI (Andalucia Federation Of Winter) sport: accident insurance for skiing.
- Atomic Spain: Help us with ski boots and skis.
With this situation, following are some specifications about the program:
- Age: from 3 to 9 years old.
- Ski Simulator: June, July and from September to April.
- Ski Sierra Nevada: From December to April.
The goals of this event is that the kids, not only come to one day to the snow, we want to learn all year, but this idea requires the following teaching processes:
- Phase 1: Discovering the Sport.
- Phase 2: Technique acquisition.
- Phase 3: Implementation in snow.
- Phase 4: Technique development.
- Phase 5: My Firs Fun Race. Carolina Ruiz Challenge Ski Club Granada.
Moreover, during the winter to teach the FIS, the kids will have a fun file by every rule. This file will explain the FIS Rules with examples and space to draw. Link to Event Registration
