A closer look

FIS SnowKidz Award Case Studies arrive
Every two years the FIS SnowKidz Award recognizes the best efforts to bring children to the snow. In 2014, the level of nominations was exceptionally high with very creative events being put forward. Judges had a very tough time deciding on the winners. In the end, the top places went to the Netherlands with the USA and Finland taking 2nd and 3rd respectively.

Following the presentation of Award, FIS has worked with the Award recipients to develop case studies. The case studies look deeper into the orgaisation of the events to provide future event Organisers ideas on what can be done to bring children to the snow. The case studies will also provide future SnowKidz nominees and idea of what it takes to win the SnowKidz Award. Readers of the case studies will find information such as who the Organiser is, what their project is, if a video was submitted, what communication actions were undertaken, who their target group was and if the project is from the National Ski Association or a spate event submitted through their National Association.

Each of the case studies can viewed online or downloaded. To access the Case Studies simply click here.
