Finland Shift into 6th Gear

Kids Snow Fun Tour launches in Finland
Bringing children to the snow in Finland has seen a dramtic rise in the last two seasons. Following their success at the SnowKidz Award in 2014 the National Ski Association have teamed up with ski clubs and industry stakeholders to really push bringing children to the snow. The result the ”Kids Snow Fun Tour”
Stopping in 16 locations around the country, each tour destination will see a full day of events for school kids and an evening events for families. Children can explore and experience skiing tricks, ski jumping, xc skiing, biathlon and skills needed in these sports.

Interest in the concept has grown so quickly that global supermarket chain Lidl has announced a partnership with the tour. Thanks to LIDL, support will be provided to the events with items such as snacks and warm drinks to keep little hands toasty during events.

Each event is open to all families and their children and is free of charge. FIS encourages everyone in Finland to join in the celebrations, these events are not to be missed.
