Positive trends in the snow sports industry
In order to provide children an opportunity to try snow sports, it requires the participation or many stakeholders in the snow sports industry. From the beginning of the Bring Children to the Snow campaign FIS has sought to engage a wide variety of stakeholders to bring children to the snow. Amongst these stakeholders, ski resorts have been some of the most proactive.

Through the International Report on Children’s Lift Ticket Prices, many ticketing initiatives have been identified. But more continue to be launched. Each day FIS receives countless updates from resorts launching new ticketing initiatives. Comparing this information to just two years ago, a visible shift towards children can be seen.

FIS President Gian Franco Kasper commented “The moves by the ski resorts for children will have a significant positive impact. The future of snow sports resides with the next generation. By caring for them and giving them the opportunity to try something that we have all enjoyed for decades we will helping everyone. FIS encourages resorts around the world to continue their efforts towards children”
