Kids indoor slope record

World Record set to be broken for largest slope on stilts
Indoor snow centres are key facility in bringing new comers to snow sports. Their urban location allows for easy access and they’re gentle slopes are perfect for beginners. Now one of the worlds most popular indoor facilities ,SnowWorld Zoetermeer, will soon be able to claim to have the longest ski slope that’s supported on stilts.

SnowWorld Zoetermeer, the smaller of two SnowWorld centres in the Netherlands has been given the go ahead by local government for the slope extension after years of legal wrangling finally came to an end.
The centre, which was where The Netherlands only Olympic snowboarding gold medallist Nicolien Sauerbreij trained before winning the first Dutch medal at a non-ice skating event in the Winter Olympics, says it will have the steepest indoor snow slope in the world after the 10 Million Euro extension is completed by the end of the year.

At 300m long the new slope at SnowWorld Zoetermeer will be around the 10th longest indoor snow slope in the world. The nine longer slopes, including SnowWorld Landgraaf, are all built fully or partially on hillsides.
