Lets go Nationwide

Nationwide actions increase in popularity
Over the past 6 years the number of nationwide actions to Bring Children to the Snow has increased substantially. In 2012 the first nationwide event was registered with World Snow Day. Now in 2017 the number of nationwide actions has increased to 14. These include World Snow Day Latvia, Apen Bakke Norway, The Canadian 4 and 5 grade Pass Program, Schools Snow Sport Action in Austria, Everyone on Snow in Sweden, Lasten Lumipäivät throughout Finland, Kids on Snow in Germany, Russia World Snow Day, Kids Ski Free Program in Japan, World Snow Day China, Brietensport Program in Switzerland, Free Lessons for World Snow Day Throughout Poland, Schools Snowsport Program England and Ski 4 All Portugal.

The rise in the number of nationwide actions can be attributed to the SnowKidz program. The programs flexibility with event timing and the SnowKidz Award have allowed Organisers to stage numerous events throughout the season.

When it comes to numbers of participants these events naturally attract the highest participation rates thanks to their reach. Currently the Canadian 4th and 5th grade Pass program holds the title of the “Worlds Largest Kids Snow Program” however the Latvian World Snow Day is not far behind.

With 3 nationwide actions in the planning, these types of events are ones to look out for in the future.
